marquardt+ and Atlas Carpet Mills have a long relationship that spans over 15 years and continues to this day. The initial showroom work included a full gut renovation with interior architecture, custom displays and brand strategy for the Los Angeles and Chicago showrooms. The design teams main goal was to position the Atlas brand and showroom as a modern, minimal, creative space that displays the product in an innovative way. Our studio designed and engineered a moveable display panel system that allows for complete display reconfiguration, product groupings and emphasis while eliminating the need for yearly renovations. The Chicago Showroom continues to be refreshed each year, utilizing the original panels in new configurations and carpet designs.
