Our menorah design is a blend of ancient ritual and unadorned simplicity that is tied together by everyday objects becoming art.
The menorah is custom designed and constructed of untreated steel plate welded together. Over time, the steel will develop a unique patina. Rather than using candles, our design utilizes olive oil lamps, connecting it to the history and ritual of the original celebration. The branches are off-the-shelf test tubes and the shamash is an Erlenmeyer flask, which are fitted with a rubber well nut stopper, metal guide, and cotton wick. The overall design is sophisticated, yet modest and honors the Jewish tradition.
